Craft Fair Kiddos

Colton decided to enter another booth in the FBC Craft Fair once again, and Cady decided to join him.  They both worked very hard in the weeks leading up to it, getting everything done.  I was so proud of them - all of their wares turned out very nice.  

Cady made a lot of great ornaments and Colton did welded horseshoe items again:

Fall and Winter do not slow down too much for the kids after fair season, like you think it would.  They both stayed pretty busy with school activities.   Colton had pictures taken with his LC FFA Officer team and they came out pretty good.

Cady was excited to wear her scrubs to school for her Principles of Biomedical Studies and she looked pretty darn cute:

Colton rode on the NMSU Board of Regents float for the Homecoming Parade:

Colton returned to Indianapolis with his FFA Chapter for another National FFA Convention and had a great time:

While Colton was in INDY, Cady and her friends attended the big Cruces/Mayfield game:

For the LCHS FFA Winter Social, Cady's friends came over to hang out after school and then got ready for the dance together:

They froze on the wagon while looking at lights, but they had a great time:

Proud of these kiddos and all that they do in and for their organizations.  Love them to pieces!

Family Portraits {2019}

We get our family portraits taken professionally every other year and this year we were happy to have Kassi Simpson take them again.  We met her on a beautiful ditch bank in Mesilla Park.  She did some family shots:

Halloween Fun {2019}

The kids may be getting older, but we still get in some family traditions, such as carving pumpkins! We spent one evening doing this and everyone had a great time:

Cady and I were the only ones who dressed in costume this year, and I only did because I am a teacher of young kiddos and I thought it would be fun.  Cady dressed as a yellow M&M, part of group effort with some of her friends. She painted her t-shirt herself and it looked cute.  I also decorated a t-shirt and it was based on "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" by Dr. Seuss.  I made a cute headband, too:

Cady went trick-or-treating with her friends, Aubri, Yamili, Baylee, and Omar:

She got tons of candy!

Colton was actually out of town, at National FFA Convention with his Chapter over Halloween.  We missed him!
