Easter {2019}

What a beautiful day Easter was this year!  It was our year to stay in town, but it was different because for the first time ever, it was only the 4 of us.  We started off by attending a wonderful church service where we celebrated the Resurrection in worship and with a great message.

We then headed to Mesilla where we had brunch reservations at St Clair's, but we were early so we found a nice spot to take some family pictures in our Easter best.

It really was such a gorgeous day outside!

Brunch was fun and the food was fabulous! Easter brunch was a first for our family and this was also the first brunch, period, for Cady and Colton.  We all enjoyed ourselves and ate way too much!

We spent the rest of the day at home, resting, playing cornhole and enjoying each other's company.  The kids also got Easter baskets - they keep getting older but I just can't help myself - I love putting baskets together for them each year!!

A beautiful day celebrating that Christ died for our sins and then rose again! Thank you, Jesus!!

Happy Birthday, Gramma Suzy!

On Good Friday, all 4 of us had the day off so we chose to drive to Mimbres to spend sometime with Papa Jimmy and Gramma Suzy and celebrate her birthday with her, a week late.  They were camping down the road from their house with friends, and we so wanted to take our camper out and join them, but we had an event to attend the night before Easter, so a daytrip it was.

It was so nice and relaxing to be out in the woods hanging out with all of them! So relaxing that I only snapped one pic and it was of Gramma and Cady with the birthday cake, which Cady made.  It was an Italian Cream Coconut cake and was delicious!
Happy Birthday, Mom! We love you lots and lots!

Spring Break at Disneyland

Last year for Spring Break, Leigh Anne had asked us if we could meet them for some fun at Disneyland.  We weren't able to then, but Colin promised her we would this year and we did!  It was so much fun! Mainly because we always have so much with all of them and love being together but we also love Disneyland!

On our way!  So excited!
We met up with them that first day we all arrived.  It was wonderful to be back together.

Cady always gets a new pair of ears!

Day 2:

Colin and I had shirts made!
My sister and I on the Cars ride!

Day 3 - We wore family shirts!!

The three older boys' shirts said "Let's Do This" while Titus' read "I'm Here for the Snacks" which as you can see, was very fitting!

Us girls had tanks that read, "Best Day Ever"

Colton hurt his foot pretty good before our trip and was on crutches, so we rented him a wheelchair each day.  Titus helped make it not so bad!
Jungle Cruise!
Goofy's Kitchen for dinner that night

 Day 4:
The Matterhorn

Day 5:  The day we say goodbye

Our last thing we did with Leigh Anne and family was eat an amazing lunch at CafĂ© Orleans! Then it was time to say goodbye to them which is always hard!

Our favorite ride at CA - Grizzly River Run

That night we went down to Huntington Beach for dinner and a little shopping
