Colton didn't have as much time to work on fair projects between homework and football, but he took a lot of pictures over the summer and also completed his annual scrapbook. Cady, also did her scrapbook and took pictures, but she had a little more time to work on a few other things to enter in this year's fair.
The one she was most excited about was a cross we saw on Pinterest, made of toilet paper rolls! She took 7 rolls, cut them into fourths and then used a hot glue gun to glue them together:
Next, she spray painted it with an oil rubbed bronze color:

It turned out beautiful and you can't tell that it's recycled tp tubes!
She also made this cute Fall owl wreath for our front door:
Finally, Colton had given her a tie-blanket kit last Christmas and she would work on tying squares together while we were driving to and from soccer practice (25 mins one way!) or while watching tv:
